SAFETY

Respect Each Other’s Space

Please keep in mind that the festival attracts a large number of people. Every attendee is unique, and everyone experiences being surrounded by thousands of people differently.

When standing in lines, waiting for panels and activities, or interacting with newly met participants, do your best to respect their personal space. Be polite, avoid conflict situations, and do not contribute to their escalation.

If you notice any kind of problem or feel uncomfortable, immediately contact the festival security service or organizers for assistance.

Practical Tips for ComicFest Guests

Take Care of Personal Belongings

  • Look after your phone, bank cards, keys, and other belongings. Bring only the most essential items to the festival. The organizers are not responsible for lost items.

Use the Storage and Lost & Found Office

  • Items that are prohibited from being brought into the festival grounds can be left in the paid storage area (the full list of prohibited items is provided in the Terms and Conditions).

  • The storage space and the Lost and Found office are located at the main entrance of the festival.

Respect the Environment

  • Do not damage the festival equipment and decorations. Do not litter the area; segregate your waste and use the appropriate bins.

Smoking Regulations

  • Do not smoke in enclosed spaces, exhibition pavilions, tents, workshop zones, and crowded lines.

Driving Safety

  • Never get behind the wheel under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances. Use the festival’s free transportation.

Behavior During Panels

  • Avoid rough physical contact, pushing, and shoving in crowds. This poses a threat to your safety as well as the safety of other guests and cosplayers (especially those wearing complex and bulky costumes).

  • Enjoy the festival in real-time and not through the screens of your devices (phone, tablet). Do not block the view of people standing behind you by taking photos or recording videos for extended periods.

Limited Capacity of Spaces

  • Please note that some indoor spaces, workshop zones, gaming tournaments, and panel halls have limited capacity. Due to safety regulations, access to certain spaces may be temporarily restricted at any given moment.

Save Energy and Help Others

  • The festival is packed with activities, so take timely breaks in the lounge areas to ensure you have enough energy until the end of the festival.

  • Do not leave a person in need of help unattended. If someone feels unwell, immediately contact the information center, security staff, or the medical station.

  • In case of observing aggressive, dangerous, or suspicious behavior, report it immediately to the festival security service.

Use the Map and Trust the Staff

  • Use the official ComicFest map to navigate the festival grounds. Check the locations of medical stations, emergency exits, and restrooms in advance.

  • Trust the festival organizers, volunteers, and security service. Their work and instructions are aimed at ensuring your safety and comfort.
