TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Festival Name: ComicFest Tbilisi

Event Period: 17-18 October 2026

Location: Radio City, Tbilisi

Organizer: Comic Fest Georgia LLC, ID: 431188190 (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”)

I. General Provisions

  1. These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulations”) govern the conditions of conduct, safety, and ticket usage for guests, participants, artists, and cosplayers on the territory of ComicFest (hereinafter referred to as the “Festival”).
  2. The Regulations are mandatory and binding for all individuals present on the official territory of the Festival (indoor spaces, Artist Alley, gaming and children’s zones, outdoor area/food court).
  3. Purchasing a Festival ticket or entering the territory automatically constitutes full and unconditional agreement to these terms.

II. Tickets and Wristbands (IDs)

  1. Tickets can only be purchased on the festival’s official website. The organizer takes no responsibility for the authenticity of tickets acquired through other channels.
  2. During the ticket purchase/registration process, the user is required to enter only the following data: first name, last name, email address, and a contact phone number.
  3. Festival tickets are not personalized, and no personal identification number or identity document verification (Check-out/Verification) is conducted at the entrance. The exchange of a ticket for a wristband is performed based on the initial scanning of a valid barcode on the ticket.
  4. Important Reminder Regarding Email/Phone: In the event that an incorrect email address is provided during ticket purchase and the user does not receive the ticket, their identification and data correction in the system will be carried out using the phone number provided during registration. Upon successful verification, the Organizer will resend the ticket to the user’s corrected email address.
  5. Upon initial entry to the territory, the online ticket (barcode) must be exchanged for a corresponding wristband. The ticket can be presented for scanning either on a phone screen or in a printed version.
  6. Moving within and re-entering the Festival territory is permitted only with an undamaged wristband firmly fixed to the wrist. A damaged, cut, or removed wristband becomes invalid. One wristband is intended for one person only.
  7. Age Restrictions:
    • Individuals aged 16 and older may attend the Festival independently.
    • Minors under the age of 16 are admitted to the Festival only when accompanied by an adult guardian/parent, who assumes full responsibility for their safety.
    • Children under the age of 6 enter the Festival free of charge. The Organizer reserves the right to request a birth certificate or an ID card to verify the age.
  8. All ticket sales are final, and no refunds will be issued once a ticket has been purchased.

III. Rules of Conduct and Security by Zone

1. General Prohibitions (Applicable to the Entire Territory):

The following are strictly prohibited on the Festival territory:

  • Bringing in bladed weapons, firearms, explosives, pyrotechnics, and flammable substances.
  • Bringing in and consuming narcotics and psychotropic substances.
  • Bringing in alcoholic beverages from outside.
  • Aggressive or vulgar behavior, as well as the use of racist, religious, sexual, or any other form of discriminatory symbols/slogans.
  • Bringing in animals (except for certified guide dogs for persons with disabilities).
  • Operating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), drones, and any other airborne devices without the prior written permission of the Organizer.

2. Special Rules for Cosplay and Props:

Since the Festival involves cosplay, the following rules apply to the accessories of participants’ costumes:

  • Any weapon imitation (Prop) must be made of safe materials (foam, plastic, wood, cardboard). Sharp metal weapons are strictly prohibited.
  • Replicas of firearms (e.g., Airsoft, toy guns) must not contain ammunition, and their barrels must be visibly blocked.
  • The security service reserves the right to inspect any “Prop” at the entrance and prohibit its entry in the event a potential danger is detected.

3. Artist Alley and Gaming Zone:

  • Intellectual property rights must be respected on the territory of Artist Alley. Plagiarism of other people’s work is strictly prohibited.
  • In the gaming zone and board games space, participants are required to handle the equipment, consoles, and game inventory with care. In the event of damage, the liability for financial compensation shall be imposed on the person who caused the damage.

IV. Media Recording and Copyrights

  1. ComicFest is a public mass event. Official photo and video recording is conducted on the Festival territory by the Organizers and accredited media.
  2. By attending the Festival, the participant grants the Organizer the right to use their image (photo/video) for informational, promotional, and marketing purposes of the Festival (social networks, website, TV reports) without any financial compensation.
  3. Photography for personal use is permitted; however, commercial shooting with professional equipment requires prior media accreditation.

V. Authority and Responsibility of the Organizer

  1. The security service reserves the right to inspect guests’ bags and personal belongings at the entrance to detect items prohibited by these regulations.
  2. In the event of a violation of the rules, disruption of public order, or aggressive behavior, the Organizer reserves the right to remove the individual’s wristband and expel them from the Festival territory without a refund of the ticket price.
  3. The Organizer is not responsible for personal items lost or damaged by guests on the Festival territory.
  4. Loud audio systems and visual effects (stroboscopic lighting) are operated on the Festival territory. The Organizer urges guests (especially parents of children) to use hearing protection as necessary.

VI. Force Majeure and Cancellation/Postponement of the Festival

  1. The Organizer is not liable for the failure to fulfill obligations if such failure is caused by force majeure circumstances (natural disasters, hostilities, state regulations, epidemics, or any other extreme situations beyond the Organizer’s control).
  2. In the event of a change in the date or cancellation of the Festival, the Organizer is obliged to immediately post the information on the official website https://comicfest.ge/ and on social media, where the terms for ticket refunds or exchanges will also be specified.

VII. Final Provisions

  1. These regulations are governed by the active legislation of Georgia.
  2. Any dispute or claim shall be reviewed within 14 calendar days from the conclusion of the Festival, in writing, via email at: info@comicfest.ge
